I like gong to the Brown's auctions best. I like Thummel's too but Salina is more expensive, the ladies from the antique shops will more than likely drive bidding higher. It's been awhile since there has been a good antique/vintage auction. I saw mannequins and bust heads in the pictures, and my online shop could really use some props. Plus, I saw buttons in the sales bill. There are crazy looking stacks of items, that were squirreled away!! OMG I wanna go.

Not sure which one I'm picking at this time. I have a good eye at auctions. Last years best find was a ring I purchased. I bid $5.00 for a 10k Garnet ring. I thought it was a Sapphire ring. I took it over to Vernon Jewelers and had the Anderson's take a look at it. I shot the breeze with Gary while his son checked it out. I had no idea what stones were in it. The boy looked through a machine and said the spectrum didn't match Sapphire, it's Garnets. t was so happy when I learned he valued it around $800.

Etsy just went down at 7:05 am Saturday Feb 8 for emergency maintenance. I wonder what that's all about.

I ended up choosing the bigger auction. Amazing collection of vintage and antique items. I learned this sale was #2 of 4. It required deep pockets until later in the afternoon.

Below is my big score. Two 10k open heart pendants.
